Kurt Zouma

Ok, just to clarify - I did not write this, but I do co-own the blog. The other person, who did write this, works in the media and is based in Manchester - unless he wants to reveal his name, I won't say who, but suffice to say I trust his info very much.

Also, mansour's tow ropes, that article (also by the other guy) DIDN'T say Joe Hart wants to leave, but that he would ask to leave if he can't get his place back. The wording was pretty specific on that.

I do the daily summaries FWIW and some other stuff - it's pretty easy to distinguish between me and the other guy from writing style.

Agreed, very unlucky to receive a ban,let alone one of such severity.

If nothing else though, that clip shows he is 'committed'........ I like him already!

On a side note, the foul Larsson commited on Sunday was much worse imo and goes completely unpunished!! The beautiful game....

ok thats fair enough but with all due respect why do you feel the need to share your blog with a journalist/reporter (or whatever their profession is)? You must really trust that their info will do your reputation justice!

The person in question has contacts at City. I know anyone can say this and it's a tedious phenomenon (hence why I haven't posted any of this here, because I know the skepticism it causes), but like I said I trust the person's information and speak regularly with him. I have no idea if this deal will happen, but if he says City have lodged a bid, I believe it. According to said person, the personal terms could present a challenge but City are confident of a work around.

Anyone watch this guy a lot and say if he is what we need?

In a nutshell, he's younger than Nastasić but a little more advanced, has a lot of bright moments but 2 real negatives that stick out this season, having dominated all of PSG's attackers his mistimed jump allowed Cavani's fluke of a goal to steal a draw. Now this tackle, wasn't that bad but the headlines of "10 match ban" will surely give media something to hold on to when taking shots at City. He was missed greatly against Lyon.

He works endlessly and can also provide a great pass from deep. A starting 11 with Fernandinho and Zouma would stop through balls from getting by us and start a really quick counter as Zouma is very agile at switching from defending to push the offense from the back.

Only on BT Sport and to be honest its hard to judge him as the French game is so much slower and less physical.

For my money we should put all resources into an experienced World class Centre Half.
Bit unfair, he had a MOTM performance against two of the best strikers in the world.
