Indeed, I have ben critical of him this season but these last two games he has played very well

I dont think Walker was expecting such a bad touch by Laporte on that pass to be honest, but yes he should anticipate such an occurrence. Hopefully a learning curve

He was on a one-man mission to tire out the Spurs left today; had all three haring after him at one point in the second half. Given the amount of football he has played over the last two seasons, he deserves the plaudits. Huge heart and Sheffield steel.

If he thumps the cross over the way Killer Kolarov used to, anything below head height, would be advantageous but on occasion he gives it full welly and yer fear for some poor sod in the East Stand who might not be concentrating on the game - then, THWACK!

Kyle Clichy when it comes to getting crosses in. I'd love to see him be a bit more adventurous. It's like he doesn't back himself.
