Fair enough but I judge any player we sign after playing for us for at least half a season.

We need home grown. We need a right back. Who's the best English right back. Walker. That simple for me. And yes we could get English in other areas but there are very few that are available that would get in our team. Walker, given we haven't a right back, gets in our team.

I can see Spurs going for Ryan Sessegnon if they sell Walker to us as back up to Trippier. He looks like he could become the best English right back in decades.

Had a poor game, but every player does now and then, for various reasons. Not sure that justifies an explosion in pages of knee-jerk reactions like "not an upgrade (on Sagna/Navas)" and "he's not the best RB in the league (but I don't know who is)"

Is he worth £40m+? No and, given Levy's fuckery, it'll probably be more than that, but that's sadly going to be the way of it this window, particularly for quality English players.

Disagree with this so much. Semedo, Cancelo and Ricardo Pereira are so much better if you're looking for established RBs. And if you want to experiment and try your luck with slightly younger players, then there's Passlack and Karsdorp.

You should tell Pep about all these players mate, he seems to be missing the boat big time.

Disagree with this so much. Semedo, Cancelo and Ricardo Pereira are so much better if you're looking for established RBs. And if you want to experiment and try your luck with slightly younger players, then there's Passlack and Karsdorp.

I rate semedo, but he is playing in a much lower standard league and his stats are similar to walker. Same with the rest on your list. Think personally I would pick walker as he is a lower risk due to experience in the league.
