Guarantee some clubs will pick up exceptional full backs for very little relatively speaking. We always get quoted exorbitantly high fees for established footballers. Our scouting system needs to waken up and "scout".

The very same system that picked up Jesus for £25m... the very same fee we are asking for Kelechi.

They seem awake to me.

Hmmm. To suggest Spurs don't need money is clearly nonsense.

As I said, Spurs don't need money from selling their best players. They're selling Walker because Poch is happy to let him go.

Well if you don't know your own chairman by now you'll never know what I mean by bent

Perhaps you could start by telling us what YOU mean by "bent" in respect of Levy? I'm interested to hear.

How much will the cost overrun be on the new stadium? Brexit is hiking prices up like mad for all building materials. I guess it will depend how you have procured but I'd bet on a 30 to 40 per cent higher spend than budget.

Budget has increased by some 20%, apparently. A blow, certainly. But by no means a reason to knock Spurs off course. With the added revenues generated by the new stadium, Spurs' annual income will rise to £400m+. And given that, of the major clubs, Spurs run by far the tightest ship in terms of wage bill, there will be ample surplus to service and pay off any added debt without selling important players.

Fuck the £50m. We should start buying up all the building materials in London and bring the WHL building site to a close until they sell us Walker at a reasonable price.
This the out of the box thinking that we need.

Perhaps we are looking for players who will immediately fit Pep's requirements , whereas other players may become " exceptional " , but require time to develope into that player ?

The irony in selling your best right back whilst saying "Spurs don't need to sell their best players". Top clubs don't sell their best players ever. Falling out or no falling out. Especially not one as innocuous as the Poch/Walker one. The fact is you want the money because you're a selling club, Walker wants to move back up north, his agent told Spurs that months ago, so Poch began the dance of easing him out of the team so that supporters like you could say "manager didn't want him".
