Well we know two of them. Guessing the other 2 will depend on who leaves. Is love a creative midfielder with an engine…another Bernardo…even if he stays I’d like another.

Geordie Bruno would have been absolutely perfect for us. No chance getting him out of there now though

Crap. Nowhere near our level.
Doesn't matter if we have money if the potential replacements aren't elite level quality.

Look at RW for example. Mahrez and Bernardo could both leave, but who could we realistically replace them with on the same (or better) level of quality? Try to name names and you may end up struggling to as I certainly did.

You say City fans should be excited rather than fearful as we have lots of money that we could spend but in my humble opinion the potential replacements for Walker and at RW aren't exciting and are a clear step down from the players we already have in those positions.

Very happy to be proven wrong but I really don't think the squad building for this summer as simple as splashing the cash assuming a big spend will take of everything. Just look at Chelsea recently and United in the last 10 years.

Sad if this latest report is true. Walker has been an absolute excellent player for us and one I will miss but we need to keep moving forward. The club will find the right solutions.

Don't agree with these comments on Pavard.

He isn't the defender that Walker is, but no player in football is to be honest. We're never getting a like for like replacement and if Kyle fancies a new challenge nothing we can do about it.

Pavard is very much in the mould of defender that this new system is leaning to - versatile and very capable at either RB or CB. I'd say a better fit than Walker in pure terms of the direction our system is going, but obviously Walker has a very specialist skillset that will be missed.

Very experienced player at the highest level with a world cup, CL and multiple leagues under his belt.

Reasonable pace, very good passing and ability on the ball and a solid defender.

Expect he won't be very expensive too with a year left on his contract.

We could be doing a lot worse and think this could be another Akanji type transfer - doom and gloom and then he shines under Pep.
