Not actually arsed about walker staying or not as he barely played last season
I think he is generally poor (on the ball and can’t create) unless up against a speedy winger.

He was dropped for our biggest game of the season as well against inter
He was good against Madrid and arsenal against pace but generally pep would rather have Lewis or stones in that position

I would think the success he helps bring us means it’s better to lose any 13m, pay his current wages for a year, and if he doesn’t sign a new contract then he can go on a free in a year
