Makes me laugh when I hear we’d accept £13M for KW when we turned down £10M for Garcia (apologies, I know his name is triggering) with 12 months remaining, admittedly Barca wanted to pay 50p a week, we’re talking about a player who can win teams champions leagues by virtue of his performances against the likes of Mbappe & Vin Jnr. I think he is generally poor (on the ball and can’t create) unless up against a speedy winger.

I would think the success he helps bring us means it’s better to lose any 13m, pay his current wages for a year, and if he doesn’t sign a new contract then he can go on a free in a year
