Walker to Bayern talk gaining traction, and quickly. Shame really, think he still has time left in him but think this just further confirms Pep's plan to stick to what served us so well (4 CBs across the back line).

Good luck to him - a new challenge and one he deserves. Personally think he's one of Pep's best signings, if not top 3.

It's a massive rebuild this Summer but luckily the players we do have are so versatile in that they can cover a number of positions brilliantly. Stones and Akanji can play right-back (and did over Walker) for example.

If this is right, then he’s made it clear he wants to go which is a shame. Same with any player, if they want to go then so be it.

Shame as City wanted another year on contract not so long ago.

Gotta be the only person who thinks walker leaving is fine? Were clearly moving to a different formation where full backs aren't necessary. Stones, akanji, lewis will cover the right center back position, Ake and gvardiol the left. Rice, stones, rodri and lewis on the hybrid DM-CB. Walker is not needed in this.

I guess leaving him out of that final pissed him off a bit more than he showed at the time.

i think city winning the champions league has really increased our chance of landing kyle and maybe he has plans to retire at 35/36 so it could well be he wants his last 3 years to be with united i dont think this rumour is as far fetched as lots of posters on here are suggesting
