Babs because Pep can count, 40 mil would makes sense with profit to be made if and when you move him on. At 150 - 200 mil plus he would cost now no one would buy him at a price that City would make any kind of profit. No one. Whilst there's a footballing argument on whether he would work for city, of which I don't think he would. Financially it would make no sense, probably impacting on future transfer windows. Example Barca bought big but now struggling to get rid of dembele in order to bring what they need in.Yeah, makes you wonder why Pep offered £40+m for him in the summer of 2016
