If Monaco was a person they would be so good at Poker[emoji23]

The bottle to turn down so much money for a player who has 2 years left on his contract, plus not knowing how good he will be next season or one bad tackle from a bad injury[emoji15][emoji854] Bravo Monaco

meh, they'll sell. It's not like the price is 50 mil. so they hope they'll get more in the future. Even if he repeats the season at monaco and he won't as quality around him decreased, they would maybe get offers next summer in the range of what they are asking now. It's a big risk to not sell and they know. They'll accept 100-120, some addons, installments, bla-bla, you just don't reject that on the end.

trying to think how I was when I was 18. Real Madrid could come in five years when he's 23 yeah 23!

Teenage lads will want to be with their mates, we must have a big pull with Mendy and Silva.

Can you imagine though if we buy him fpr 140m now and he realises his potential and Real want to come in for him at a later date how much we'd be asking for in 3-5 years. He'll be unobtainable unless he runs his contract down and I reckon that will factor into his decision. Real will be his ultimate goal and he might feel it's now or never to go there.

I would take signing the best player (or at least top three) in the league over a guy whose played less than 50 games in france for a quarter of the price.
The club pretty much has to win the league this season after the past three poor ones and signing someone like Sanchez who is pretty much a no risk signing would go a long way to securing that title. The club needs instant success now so im not bothered about Sanchez age we would get two or three seasons out him. We have Sane and Jesus who are very young are gonna be superstars anyway. I think anything over a 100 million for Mbappe no matter how much is potential is utter madness even in todays market.
mbappe is as good as sanchez is right now imo

Forget the statement aspect.

Everything flows from the football. I thiught he was spectacular last season. How many times do you need to see him before you're convinced. technique and pace like has, all the skills that he had on display against City and the other teams last season don't just vanish overnight. Our eyes weren't deceiving us.

I don't understand why there are quite a few fans saying "Oh it's too much". Would they say that about messi. This make more sense because of his age. Anyway, what we think is irrelevant. We'll get a barrage of abuse from other clubs but bring it on. I'd love to go into the Derby and Chelsea matches etc with him in the side.

Not interested in Sanchez. He's on a level with what we have. Mbappe on the other hand is a player who can bridge the gap. he's the type of player that teams like bayern, Real Madrid and barca have that in the big games win you matches. But we don't want him because he's too expensive? It's not our money is it. If City think they can spend £100m plus, and make it nack in spades then do it, and don't worry about it.

im completely with you in that regard....this has the potential to be a world class signing, hes already as good or better then sanchez in my opinion and is 11 years younger, with him or without him i think we win the league this year but this signing is about the next 10 years as well

My mind was made up after watching France vs England. I watched two very special talents that game, mbappe and dembele were streets ahead of everyone. England shit themselves every time mbappe got on the ball.
Wouldn't read too much In to a team that got beat by Iceland.

We all know England are poor, but you can tell when you're watching a good footballer. If you can't see it then fair enough. If I was manager and I had to choose one out of the two to play for me, it would be mbappe. His pace is the main factor.

its like saying messi isnt good because his team beat england.....just ridiculous

Except it's not because nobody quantifies Messi's talent by beating an England side do they? Especially an England defense that was all over the place... they are good but the defence against France was shambolic and not because "they made them look that way" they just were.

Mbappé and Dembélé are great young talents, I knew that before that game but they're not world beaters yet, they're simply not, they are two of the biggest rising stars along with our Gabby Jesus(all day long)... Sanchez is already there been there bought the t-shirt etc, he's earned his stripes they have it all to prove. It's getting like the hype in boxing, people choosing their champions before they've won a belt, claiming they are hall of fame before they've beat anyone of note... they have yet to build their legacies. It's disrespectful to the likes of Messi and Ronaldo and all they have achieved and given to the game to be mentioning them in the same breath in my opinion.
