He's said himself that Madrid have been after him since he was 14, he has obviously been very well advised up until now and I don't see that suddenly changing. For me, Madrid is too big for an 18 year old, a move to us this season or another season at Monaco seems most plausible, with a move to Madrid later.Would be shocked if we got him. I think getting two decent full backs would make us a much better team than last season. Added to sorting out the goalkeeper and getting bernardo silva (who seemed to come from nowhere). I think we also need cover at fullbacks but maybe maffeo could provide some of that. If we constantly sign player after player how will the academy lads get their chance?
Spurs give their youngsters a go and it seems to work okay for them. Kieran Trippier being an example of a kid we let go who is now looking a very good player for one of our title rivals.
Not expecting us to get him, but one of these days we will get the stellar name we are after. real Madrid can't do it every time. I've got a feeling the time is not right for Real madrid but that Mbappe will sign an extended contract with a clause allowing to go there, or somewhere else, when it suitsWould be shocked if we got him.
