Could not agree more. My biggest wish is to see Aguero the club legend and man mostly responsible for 93:20 to break the clubs goalscoring record.

Loyalty works both ways and half the forum would be in meltdown if he showed similar standards of loyalty.
Kun deserves another season at least.
For all he has done in the past, for his application last season in adapting his game for the good of the team, for being a model professional throughout his time here, and because he is the best fucking striker in the Prem bar none.
Mind you his goal tally is dropping off.....oh wait a minute.

Let's strip out the bollox.

Like it or not (and few will) but Mcr and Cheshire start with a huge disadvantage against Madrid, Barcelona and Munich. Environment, climate, culture, barms... you name it.

Second, we will be viewed by many as nouveau riche, with fcuk all track record in the CL and who can't string two domestic league titles together.

So what we can offer is £££ plus Pep plus optimism. That will swing some but not all.
I agree but I would add in our unbelievable facilities and world class player's to play alongside.

I think it's a problem we have. 2 years ago no fan would have sanctioned sales of Zabaletta or Yaya. We could have got £20m and £30m easy. Fast forward 2 years and fans are saying we have kept hold of them too long.

You can't refresh your fullbacks whilst keeping fullbacks on the way down in their career at the same time.

Aguero definitely has another good season or two left on him and I'd keep him for one more. Not least because if we were to sell him for Mbappe it's two young players who have barely played a full season between them.

We cant keep retaining players until they are over the hill though.

There are people here watching down their noses on anyone daring to think about Aguero moving who I'd had discussions with about Zabaleta 2 years ago and were calling me all kind of names. Even last year they were saying that we should keep him because he still can do the job. I'd rather not name them as I'm not interested in piss exchange with them again, nothing to learn from that discussion and it just pisses me off but some guys are completely fine saying that we never sell good but in same time would keep any good player until he barely could walk.

Some players earned legend status here and will always be loved but there is nothing City owe them. Nothing. They were properly awarded for their job and service and that's exactly what it is - job and service. It's City's interest first, than emotions. I understand that some people might think that Aguero still has bullets to fire and I'd agree with them definitely. But his bullets are not the most power on the world and if some better gun appears, than no emotions or legendary status should have any importance in club's decision.

In that case will you be happy if Aguero suddenly wants to join the rags? he doesn't owe us anything either.

At what point would you sanction letting your club legend go, he can't keep going forever.

After he becomes our all time leading goal scorer and we then cash in to the tune of 100m, job done and thank you very much Kun, he will get two more years somewhere and then pull the I want to go home trick like Tevez, as hard as it is for me to say it I can see it happening.

I love Aguero and would be gutted if he was sold and it won't be long until David wants a return to his hometown team as well, do we cash in on him before he decides to call it quits ?

Difficult decisions, in an ideal world they would all play until retirement and take various coach rolls at the club lol

Yeah and Zab left at the right time like Aguero will do.

He absolutely doesn't owe us anything, he got his job done more than fair. I wouldn't be happy and obviously neither would I nor will the club sell him there while he is under contract at City, but if he would went there I'd watch him just as any other rag ****, not as "he was at city" rag ****. I'm not average football fan though and have close to zero real world emotions toward players, I look at them just as 99% of them really feel and are - as employers doing their job.

Zab didn't went at right time, he went at time when we found ourself in situation to spend fortune for fullbacks to replace those who went for nothing. While being short on FB quality for 2 years. That might be all kind of things but right time or good business it is not.
