Anyone who thinks we will get him this season is mad.
Now or never.
This kid rather than Sanchez.....
Sanchez short term, Mbappe the next 5 years sorted, then a world record fee so he can go and play for Madrid.
Anyone who thinks we will get him this season is mad.
Depends on what the response wasMbappe has tweeted Mendy & said he will miss him quickly.
That sounds like he isn't intending on joining him.
If we're short on funds I'm willing to contribute to make this happen.Won't happen, to many rags would be slitting their wrists.
Are you perchance a dwarf with your own gold mine?If we're short on funds I'm willing to contribute to make this happen.
SOON !!! ;-)Depends on what the response was
True, but maybe there is another point:
Sanchez would bring in the winning mentality we need to compete on the highest level. Kompany has it, maybe Yaya.
Our young kids are great and Mbappe is too, but Sanchez would not only boost the team short term,
he would also take some pressure from our young lads on their way of further development.
In his shadow they could improve and breathe some of his winning mentality and superb attitude every day.
That way Sanchez over Mbappe could also be called as better for the long term development of the squad, right?
You always need a sound balance of 'young and wild' vs experience.
How many years are left in Sanchez? 3 for sure, maybe 5.
We need those special characters to get to the next level and implement winning mentality as a standard in the club.
Winning mentality? He won an FA cup yes, but no more than our players in general if you stretch over 2-3 years.
Our squad are full of players with a winning mentality.
I think what you're meaning is we need a Tevez type, gut busting savage pit bull to get the crowd wound up.
Mbappe has tweeted Mendy & said he will miss him quickly.

Maybe that's because they will only be apart for a relatively short time! Here's hoping!Mbappe said "Tu vas me manquer vite fait" which doesn't really mean "I'll miss you quickly". In this context, "vite fait" means more like "Kinda" or "A bit". He's using it more in a jokey way like "I'll miss you... a bit." And Mendy replied with the same basic joke "Toi aussi vite fait" (I'll miss you too, a bit). By all accounts, they were good mates at Monaco, could be a factor in influencing Mbappe but probably not a huge one.
