Labour or Conservative?

What is wrong with saying people should be treated equally?

Do you think women should be allowed to play for City? Because I'm sure there are lots of women who would love to on the same earnings as a Premiership footballer for kicking a ball about every saturday. Now that's equality.

Fuck the tories

Why don't you like them? Let's see if you can give a genuine reason without using the words 'Thatcher', 'snob', 'Eton', 'Toff' or 'posh'.

Because that's like me saying I don't vote Labour because they are chavs.

I know the two parties have had to edge closer and closer together to get more votes, but let's be honest about the general attitudes of each party:

Labour: tax increases
Tory: tax cuts

Labour: lenient on crime
Tory: strict on crime

Labour: more immigration
Tory: less immigration

Labour: pro-gay
Tory: pro-family

Labour: more benefits to poor people paid for by rich people
Tory: less benefits to poor people so rich people don't have to pay as much tax

Labour: doesn't want people to inherit wealth from their dead parents
Tory: happy to let money be passed from dead parents to offspring

Labour: happy for 70% of our laws to be decided by European politicians
Tory: anti-Europe (except Ken Clarke)
do you live on fantasy island?

Are you aged about 12 with no knowledge of history?
It is the only reason you could call The Tories anti europe!
Who took us into Europe? Who signed up to Maastricht? Who took us into the ERM (and then bailed out)?

Alan Duncan and Edward Heath -gay

the rest of em are perverts who like hanging from staircases with oranges up their arse

No. I have a degree in history actually.
The Tories. The Tories. The Tories.

But, the Tories at this moment in time have promised us a REFERENDUM on Europe, whereas Labour haven't allowed us one despite promising it when they were elected.

The reason Labour won't let us have one is because they know we'll say NO THANKS.

The current general Tory policy is anti-Europe.

From the Conservatives website:

We believe that in democracies nothing lasting can be built without the people’s consent. But people have been denied their say on the renamed EU Constitution.

So if the Lisbon Treaty is not yet in force at the time of the next general election and a Conservative Government is elected we would put the Treaty to a referendum of the British people, recommending a ‘no’ vote. If the British people rejected the Treaty, we would withdraw Britain’s ratification of it.

But if the Treaty is in force we will be in a different situation. In our view, then, political integration would have gone too far and the Treaty would lack democratic legitimacy in this country and we would not let matters rest there.

shaundickov. You have a very naeive view of the 'poor.'

I hate benefit thieves and those cunts need to be put down but labelling in the less fortunate as, "taking from the rich because they are lazy" is possibly the most retarded thing you have written on this forum.

People who claim working family tax credit, do exactly that. Work.

Housing benefit helps people pay for their homes while working full time. How do you think a single parent who works 40 hours a week can afford to live if they earn say 14k a year?

Come off it mate. Don't label a section into one lump of lazy people. A really poor choice of words.

Some of the silver spoon brigade are the laziest cunts in the world.
