Labour or Conservative?

Oh and please tell me what is wrong with equality?

Let me repeat my earlier question - do you think City should be forced to field a certain number of women in the team in the interests of equality?

Because its clear to me that women are vastly under-represented in football.

The only real difference between the two at present is that one is run by serious politicians (even if you do dislike them) and the other is run by an Eton Old Boys club who haven't suggested a serious policy for something like 5 years. The fact that they are so split about a serious politician like Clarke being given a role shows the joke that they are.

Cameron is a joke and anyone who doesn't recognise that the only thing swaying normal people towards him is the unavoidable disenchantment and desire for change that comes with any long running goverment is obviously blind. The man and his cronies have not a single thing to recommend themselves.

Labour have been bastards at times and fucked a lot of things up. I doubt I'll vote for them. However, just remember, no matter how bad things are for the average working man, they would always be worse under the Tories. They govern exclusively for their chosen few and seem to have made no attempt to move away from this under this cretin.

PS: Those Labour peers in the news yesterday should be strung up.

City have their own womens team.

Do you think Robinho is in the team because he's good or because he's black?

Oh and at what point have labour (old or new) discussed forcing premier league teams to field women?

Under a Labour government, it's only a matter of time before City are forced to field a certain number of women, homosexuals and ethnic minorities in their starting 11 in the interests of 'equality'.

They have a system in France whereby there are no quotas are set with regards to race, gender etc. They claim they're system is colourblind but in reality peoples naturally prejudices prevent equality. There's is a huge wealth gap in France which led to the riots afew years back. Our system isn't perfect but it's probably required.

Exactly!

Labour = inept shite
Conservative = Evil shite

Ruined papers are the only way forward.

The world is looking to socialism to get it out of the Financial catastrophe it's in
a financial catastrophe that could have been averted by extremely tight regulation and proper oversight

The World will have to move further left yet to get us out of this mess.
Regulation, nationalisation ,and democratic control of institutions and a massively expanded public sector are fundamental requirements

Capitalisms only answer will be war

I love how we're living in the end of days for capitalism yet the capitalists are still somehow making out that socialists are responsible for the current financial climate!

Ruining papers achieves nothing. Try to vote for decent individuals or stand yourself. Unless you support anarchy, but that's a different argument.

To be honest, I'm always very suspiscious about people who claim we should ruin papers. A lot of people claim this or say they don't vote cos 'they're all the same' because it's the easy and populist thing to say amongst some.

I don't think it's the case with you but I do know that a lot of/some MPs (although probably a falling amount due to more and more 'career politicians') are good people and there because they want to do what is right. Although some of them get corrupted, no doubt. I just think it's a bit easy and cheap to lump them all together. No doubt even the odd one of Cameron's school chum, 'bred for it' mugs think they are motivated by helping people (although in their case they probably mean a very small, carefully selected demographic group of 'people').

People should be more careful about who they vote for imo. It should also be made much easier to stand (at least it's not america though, where only the very wealthy can ever stand). Ruining votes or not voting should be the final option (well, actually voting for some pillocks like the BNP should come lower than that)

Ruining papers shows them how unrepresented we are. They know you can bother to show up to vote but that you do not feel able to vote for any party. Let's have an election where 60/70% of the papers are spoiled to show the bastards. Nothing else has worked so it's worth a try.
