lol call me thick but eh

It's a well known phrase about how people pronounce the word potato differently. Obviously, in writing, it's difficult to express this though, so I spelt them both phonetically. I was implying that you can call them labour or conservative, but it's basically just two different ways of saying the same thing.

dunno why always defended labour :-s, just because my dads a supporter ... kinda like city

Loving City is like women - you don't know why you like tall/short/blonde/big tits etc, you just do. At least with politics you can apply a bit of reason and not just follow your dick - mind you, I would f*ck Gordon Brown if I had a chance - with a pineapple lol

The political world is so murky nowadays it is difficult to decide. Once upon a time you voted for the Parliamentarion you thought would best represent the majority view, with the Whips TELLING MP's how to vote, this is no longer the case. Toe the Party line or lose your seat. There is a pub off Northumberland Ave, Westminster where a lot of MP's go which has a bell that is rung when a "Vote" needs casting. The MP's haven't listened to the "debate" as they have been TOLD which way to vote. We, the public, are being conned by self serving, egotistical blaggards.

Labour.

Why: Tories react to every day topics to please media and con public never give tou policies for long term. i.e We will sort out the recession...........How ?

Plus Cameron is a toff ! And he helped get rid of Thatcher.......

Do you really believe this? the most short termist ever was Blair and now Browns doing the same. He just speaks in sound bites and then does the opposite. EG he reduced VAT on fuel and at the same time increased the duty!! It sounds like he is doing us a favour but the VAT reduction won't help anyone and just costs more money

The VAT reduction was to make us mugs think that they were cutting taxes, 2.5% has meant a few extra pennies in our individual pockets but a loss of billions in revenue. GB is paying out more than he is getting in, our kids will be screwed in 20 years time and as for our pensions? Work 'til you die.

Unless of course you are a state employee in which case you will have an index linked pension

You mean like an erm MP? Watch for the changes in state employee pensions that will be brought in over the next five years or so, they won't be anything like they are now, unless council tax/NI goes up dramatically. It is unsustainable.
