IDS on Andrew Marr - talk about back tracking. How can he sit there and lie about the lies he's told. He's spent the £380m a week saved by leaving - 3 times. He's giving it to the NHS, he's still giving EU funding to the regions and he wants to stay in the single market - which like Norway we will need to pay for. I don't think financing and budgeting is his thing.
Regardless of his politics the problem with Corbyn is he doesn't lead.

In his defence it is hard to lead when you turn round and your team is staring at the ceiling or are hiding in the bogs calling you all the names under the sun.
Out of the EU though we can fully hold them to account and they cant hide behind Brussels blaming them.
I believe we will see a new political party emerge over the coming months and years that will attempt to regain the middle ground.
Why is that interesting? Just The Graudain being bitter.Interesting bit from the guardian
If Boris Johnson looked downbeat yesterday, that is because he realises that he has lost.
Perhaps many Brexiters do not realise it yet, but they have actually lost, and it is all down to one man: David Cameron.........
Mod note. Please post a link and dont just copy and paste full articles.
Thanks.
My problem with Corbyn (and im sure many others) is that he was so vocal about binning Trident. However.... if he now accepts that we won't be part of the EU and accepts that our defences must be maintained then I can see a lot suddenly backing him. Every man and his dog knows he wanted out of the EU anyway so he could pull a lot of the defected voters back towards the left...
Thus allowing the Scots to rent it off to the Ruskies, a nice little earner.he wont though,he will keep his ideas and argue were still a member of NATO,however if things change in Scotland Faslane will be binned and shifted to England
Sadly for most on here Blair seems the most statesman like of any of the Politicans who have been on here today
I accept the left wing start calling him a war criminal but he is ciming across as a pragmatist
Actually that's the perfect environment to lead. You have a clear opportunity to set the tone. It's when you're surrounded by yes me that it's hard to lead. Many people confuse leadership with administration. The two are very different.
May be worth remembering who triggers a general election. The PM holds that power and from time to time PMs threaten their cabinet that they will call one if they can't get their own way. If Cameron really wants to stitch Boris up he could be threatening one behind the scenes to influence the choice of leader. Dirty tricks but this is Westminster.
