So because you want to live in a fair society where those at the top cannot continue to satisfy their greed, you're envious - haha.

I'm glad Ed's finally growing some bollocks, good on him.

He isn't growing anything, he is playing PR with pointless policies so idiots think he is helping the working class, he hasn't got the balls to do anything meaningful because he is scared shitless, if i were a Labour voter i would be pissed off with this phoney socialist

To make it really really really simple for you the mansion tax will punish some filthy rich fuckers and not others and will probably be avoided by lots more on top, so if you want to tax the rich it might be better to find another way of doing it.

You see Taxation as punishment i see it is a means of enabling fairness in society.

you are doing it again, never said this, never hinted at it, in fact i intimated that if you want to tax the rich more it would be better to tax all of them equally, carry on making things up though

I come across as envious in my posts to you perhaps, but you would not ever meet a person with less envy of others than me. Envy is always aimed at perople of the left as a reason for the way they think. See Blue til deaths Labour bingo post. Its not envy that drove my political beliefs, i was a socialist before i even understood what wealth was. I became a socialist because i believe inequality in society is the biggest ill we face as a nation and until the trend which started under Thatcher, continued under Blair and has grown under Cameron is reversed then we are as a country ultimately doomed to fail and anarchy will reign.

You used the word punish in the top post quoted.

Stop trying to avoid what you said.

He actually said 'punish some filthy rich and not the others'. He was actually asking about a better way to tax all the rich. Pointless anyway, as they'd just find a way to get round any new taxation.

The mansion tax thing needs to be brought in at different rates across the country. If it's £2m in London, then homes over £750k (?) should be in the zone up here, probably £500k in the north east, and about £100k (!) in Scotland. If they didn't stagger it, then it's just a tax on the South, and if I was Cameron I'd play on that. He could probably stand on a platform of Labour being the anti-English party and get a decent majority!

If i buy a house in London for 1.9 mill and then buy a boat, a ferrari, a holiday home in the south of france and get the wife a diamond encrusted vibrator i am not considered rich enough to pay this envy tax, or i could just pay less for a mansion and sort the seller out in a different way to avoid it any tax, it is beyond stupid as a tax plan

Tax people on their income don't tax certain belongings it isn't fair and it is too easy to get around, no wonder people won't vote for these fuckwits, they will be using bankers bonuses next to subside companies taking on the long term unemployed next no doubt
Fuckwits they are, to have come up wıth a proposal that is so simple to sidestep it's fucking laughable. They are pandering to the far left of their support, which may cost them, as this gormless Wallace lookalıke has no idea how the real world functions. The Labour party have picked the wrong bloke, and considering Cameron is hardly a Titan on the world stage, that took some doing.

You are not very bright are you, if you tax one millionaire more than another based on property value as opposed to overall wealth then you are in fact punishing someone unfairly, this doesn't mean tax in general is seen as a punishment by me or anyone else, i can only suggest your read slower and think more although your response will still be envious in nature

I presume you ask your millionaire mates for money all the time? when you get these gifts do you base it on their house value, car value or the amount of Van Gogh's they own?

Why would i ask anyone for money?

I have enough for my needs. If the money i have does not stretch to my desires i go without. I dont have much but i do have the basics i need. I have never craved more, never needed more. I have enough for a few beers every now and again, enough if im careful to watch City a few times a season and enough to pay for my internet.

I dont think you trying on this thread or the other to show me as some sort of scrounging basket case has done you any credit at all.

Re: Labour's Minimum Wage Promise/Millibland on Andrew Marr

Oh Labour fucking off the disabled from the front seats.

http://www.morningstaronline.co.uk/...elegates-forced-out-of-front-row#.VCMGWBZMTvf

HEARTLESS Labour chiefs forced a group of disabled delegates to give up their seats for “party suits” minutes before Ed Miliband’s speech yesterday, the Morning Star can reveal.

Delegate and Morning Star contributor Bernadette Horton tripped and fell as she was shifted so some “bright young things” could be in place to shake the Labour leader’s hand.

“As I was going up the stairs I just lost my footing and fell,” said Ms Horton who walks with a crutch.

“I was really upset and shaken.”

Venue stewards told the party worker the seats had been specially assigned to the 15 disabled delegates but were overruled.

Ms Horton said: “The people in suits saw this but didn’t say anything. I said ‘if you’re Labour you should be ashamed.’

“We’re like pariahs in our own party. It has to stop.”

Ms Horton is set to raise the issue today in a meeting with shadow minister for disabled people Kate Green.

I don't think you are a scrounging basket case at all, i wouldn't know to be honest but my gut instinct says you are not, however if you truly believe that the rich should pay more to help the poor then by definition you would have no moral compulsion in asking a rich mate for more money, taxing them and getting it is no different in essence

The problem with ideals is that they fall apart quite easily, the envious left in this country may well sneer at the rich but who draws the line, on a global scale both you and me are well off so in fact we are both a pair of greedy cunts who don't look after the needy

Re: Labour's Minimum Wage Promise/Millibland on Andrew Marr

If paying tax is so frigging good and left wing and People's Party and all that shit, why have Blair, Brown, Hodge, Miliband and Miliband all gone out of their way not to pay their share?

Is it because they're actually just greedy fuckers who want everyone else to pay for stuff?

(Yes, it is)
