Ive not long split up from a posh bird who was very upper class, but she wasn't the problem, her mega rich parents were the problem. my ex took people for who they were but her parents it was all about class. My ex was for ever telling me to ignore her parents but it gets a bit difficult when you get the impression youre not good enough for their daughter. We've split up now but remain friends with benefits. Turns out all is not Rosie between her parents and they're only together because of the money involved and how they would be perceived amongst their small bunch of academic snobbery friends, oh how I laugh.
Really posh or Skerton posh?

Lol Tatham posh mate, it went down hill once her parents found out I was from Skerton, as you can imagine you cheeky ****.

I can't say I have ever met someone and thought "Oh no, he's posh/working class". It just doesn't enter into my thinking. It's 2012 not 1850 for crying out loud.

You're so woefully out of touch with the common man. It's unreal how deeply ignorant you are. If you sincerely believe that there's a classless society in operation today then I truly fear for you.

*sits back to wait for confrontational private message*

Oh yes, I'm out of touch with the common man, just ask FTG or Allan harper.

Get yourself another chip to even it out.

Jealousy is a poor trait.

I've got to agree with Sam here, he's Posh ( well spoken ) and educated but only looks down at us lower classes due to his height, he certainly doesn't mind drinking beer out of dirty glasses and sometimes he'll use the same glass twice.

Remember at a wedding being surrounded by millionaires and CEO's of big companies.

Never felt so out of place in my life. I tried not to make too much eye contact with people incase they asked me questions!

Good luck with the bird! Hope she has a nice fanny

I've actually already explained to you by return of message that I'm not a jealous person. I don't freak out when my Mate meets a Girl (something many can't cope with) and I don't look at Bill Gates and wish I had his money. I'm pleased for people when good things happen to them and I admire people who have achieved things. And why would I have a chip on my shoulder? I earn more than enough to get by and have a job I enjoy. My life is in a reasonable place at the moment and I have some plans for the future. All achievable with hard work.

I simply have an issue with people who look down at me because they have more than I do. I've sadly met many. Or people who have no idea how ordinary people live because they're so woefully out of touch. i.e. Many Politicians or those born in to money.

You're spending yet another night verbally attacking me over the Internet yet claim you lead a top notch life. I'm not convinced.

In some respects SWP, I can see where Peoffrey's coming from. It's no fun being thrust into the company of people who think they are superior to you purely by their occupation and where they live. I have no real inferiority complex but telling people you're a factory worker and listening to platitudes and feigned interest just feels like you're being patronised. I know you have given me advice before and you obviously have a background or work in the financial sector so maybe you have not experienced this before because you have a respectable occupation.
