You're so woefully out of touch with the common man. It's unreal how deeply ignorant you are. If you sincerely believe that there's a classless society in operation today then I truly fear for you.

*sits back to wait for confrontational private message*
Oh yes, I'm out of touch with the common man, just ask FTG or Allan harper.

Get yourself another chip to even it out.

Jealousy is a poor trait.

I've got to agree with Sam here, he's Posh ( well spoken ) and educated but only looks down at us lower classes due to his height, he certainly doesn't mind drinking beer out of dirty glasses and sometimes he'll use the same glass twice.
And you notice I failed to kick off Deanie when they ran out of Pimms.

On a serious note mate, do you ever look at someones background, ever, to judge them when meeting someone? I don't. In the same way I don't count how many black, white or Asian mates I have.

Some people are rich, some are poor, some sound posh, some sound less so but I judge everyone on their character, not who their parents or teachers were. Anyone that does anything else is a **** in my book.

You're so posh you've got your own book! That's just taking the piss.

You're spending yet another night verbally attacking me over the Internet yet claim you lead a top notch life. I'm not convinced.
I pulled you up in the afternoon, not the night poppet and I couldn't care less whether you are "convinced" or not. And if you consider this being "attacked" then maybe you didn't have the hard working class upbringing you go on about. It's not like I kicked you in the leg.

@leighton, just smash her mate. If she's a **** and judges you on anything other than you, then she ain't worth it. If you have a bit about yourself and she isn't a **** then you'll be fine.

-- Thu Aug 09, 2012 8:51 pm --

In some respects SWP, I can see where Peoffrey's coming from.
That's fair enough mate but that is just because those peope are cunts. Not because they are "posh" or "well educated". It works both ways though. I can't abide snobs on either side, be they "inverted" or standard snobs. I've had blokes that have tried it on (the whole posh thing), they usually last about 2 minutes before I rip them a new one verbally - I'm far too posh to fight nowadays ;-)

Absolute cunts the lot of them. If you are brought up to judge people solely on their character and not on their wealth, clothes, job titles or speech then you already have more "class" than any snob/inverted snob.

It wasn't so much their attitude (they were pleasant and friendly) it was the girl I was with visibly cringing when her mates asked what I did for a living.

When I worked in The City, I used to get sarcastic snorts and sniggers when confirming I was going to a football match during my two days leave off work. I'd been asked what I thought I was an innocuous question and got that as a response. My Manager also branded me a "Chav" when I turned up to our team bonding day in white Adidas trainers. We were doing lots of walking and were told to dress as we pleased. Was it in jest? Hubby was a top Barrister and she arselicked her way to the top.

My current Director is very well to do but just asks questions about how City do certain things etc. Nice man and I respect him.

Then she's an insecure arse sheiks.
It was over very soon after but the one consolation was that I'd given her some heart-stopping anal sex.

How come SWP's back is getting shit? Top guy, and that's only from knowing him in here.
I'm certainly not having a go at him Pidge.
I get the impression that he worked hard and got all the necessary qualifications to get where he is. I'm encouraging my children to do the same so they're not stuck in a dead end job like me.
