You only fight the battles you can win. Lampard clearly knew all along he'd be in Mcr next season, and we apparently 'went along' with the ffp ruling / sanctions. How long 'till messi and the tranny 'retire' to a city franchise?

Not too bad a short term signing would of loved Villa instead but hey ho. Anyway think this will be a great deal think if we get 10 games from him during that time will be good. Think he will benefit the younger EDS players on the verge of moving into the first team club. They will learn tons and tons from the likes of Lampard that will benefit them as they progress into the first team squad. On a negative side James Milner might not be too happy to see Lampard at the club. Giving him less game time as I am guessing that Lampard will get enough game time to get any medal from City winning the title this coming season hopefully.

I am ashamed to admit that i used to quite like Arsene for his achievements at Arsenal. But ever since they stopped winning trophies, he seems to have turned into a miserable moaning dick. He must lie awake most nights saying "its not fair that Man City can do this and City can do that" . Why dont you just concentrate on your own club mate!

I maybe wrong here but isnt loaning Lampard (or any other player from one of our "other" clubs) just the same as other clubs using "feeder" clubs to loan each other players? Liverpool and United have using feeder clubs for decades. Why the big stink because we have started doing it?

Does this mean then we go shopping in January? Considering we are on the verge of selling Rodwell and Garcia can't fit in the squad due to limit of foreigners. In January we have 3 midfielders when Lampard leaves. (no shit) So do we have spending cap still in January?
