Lancashire CCC

To say that was a good day is a huge understatement.
Hants following on, still 32 behind and only five wickets left

are things finally going our way?

dodging the weather all over the country on the south coast and looking like a 9 or 10 wicket win?

could do with Warwickshire v Durham being a rain affected draw

Another brilliant result and an important extra day and half rest before the Durham match.

Pleased for Kyle Hogg. He's not had much luck over the years so it's nice to see him having a good match. He's taken a bit of criticism but I think there's been a steady but continuous improvment from him over the last couple of seasons. Though he's not normally a wicket taker he's economical and can create pressure on the batsmen that the other bowlers benefit from. Hopefully this performance is the first of many.

Credit to Karl Brown too, on a pitch that pretty much everyone else struggled with that 96 looks to have been a really key innings in the end.

Tremendous result yet again. 5 wins out of 6 is a fantastic start, though it should be even better with that Sussex result that got away.

The next game against Durham is going to be absolutely huge - it's still raining at Edgbaston but we've still the rest of today and all of tomorrow in that game and Warwickshire will be following on over 400 runs behind. Unless it's a washout today and they lose some time tomorrow, I can't see them holding out for a draw.
