I feel sorry for the paying customer. 11,000 there and they were deprived of 22.5% of the 40 overs they should have seen as Lanky only needed 55% of their allotted overs to overtake the tyke score.

Yeah I bet they would have preferred Lanky plodding along at 6.5 an over rather than all those 4s and 6s.

Where was the collapse and last ball tie?

Superb performance

And did you hear Nasser's comment when they showed a rag shirted fan in the crowd. The boy from Essex said "you dont see many of them up here" pmsl

Did you read Nasser's book all those years ago? Fucking hates Old Trafford and Manchester.

I was fascinated by his psychological problems before and during cricket games. As a guy who can't sleep in the days leading up to some tin pot club game I feel for him.

I did Jay yes and im sure you passed the book onto me :)

We swopped books i think. Im getting old mate so go easy on me :))

I was in the pavilion for an England game at O.T. and was making my way back from the bar when Nasser had been Run Out. There was a few of us who had to wait whilst he made his way up the steps and back to the dressing room. To say he was fuming was an understatement. I've seen a few people lose it on the football pitch, but nothing like that.

We are peaking at the right time in this competition.

IMO we look like we have a chance of winning it!

Day out at Edgbaston would be nice, then City v Newcastle on the Monday!

If we manage to get a home quarter final then I would say we stand a huge chance of getting to finals day!

We were absolutely destroyed yesterday, it's completely bizarre that Dizzy thought we could cope without overseas players. The reason we were good at T20 last year (pretty much the only year we have been any good) was Miller and Starc came in and were incredible. We'll just have to settle for the county championship ;)

He was notorious for it. He's smashed many a changing rooms in his time and damaged all kinds of equipment, some his and a lot of other players. If he got out early or was run out or got a bad umpire's decision, his teammates would gather their stuff and hide before he got back to the locker.

He used to put himself under immense pressure. He couldn't sleep in the days leading up to a test match and when he was waiting to go into bat he would be an absolute wreck. He always said if England were 200/2 and he was going in he would be out very quickly because he'd have been waiting to go in for a few hours. This meant he would have been an absolute mess and lost all his adrenaline. However, if England were 0/2 in the first over he would go in and play well because the nerves hadn't a chance to affect him because he went into bat so early.
