1/4's are scheduled for 06-08 August.

Notts & Northants are group winners. Hants have 13pts from 8 games so likely to have a home tie as a group winner or as best runner up. If Hants win group, Surrey or Essex will be best runner up.

Just noticed Surrey play Essex after I posted, so one of them will have a better record than us , like you say.
Northants and London is a bit boring. A trip to Southampton appeals to me. Only ever been there once since they moved grounds.

fuck that, hampshire would hammer us. Ill take northants anyday.

A Surrey QF would be better money wise.

Knowing Surrey you'll end up at Chelmsford.

We get the one team that will be able to out bat us on our own pitch, shame, especially with us lacking all our star talent because they think it's intelligent to play this competition right in the middle of an Ashes series.

ECB are braindead, T20 should be done over a 4 week period, scheduled like the Indians and Aussies with all the star players free to play for the entire competition.

Well it's the draw I wanted.

Nice two days in Southampton as a warm up to the football season. Premier Inn booked.

Worst draw possible I thought - but a return to Notts wouldn't have been welcome either.

Our last visit in to the Rose Bowl for a T20 QF saw a 9 wicket win for us. Hants had been playing well, and Warne captained them, however it was his first ever T20 game.

They have looked unbeatable in the shorter format in the last couple if years, but you never kniw with lanks. Knock them out and I would fancy us winning the while thing.

got beat by Kent of all teams this year so it shows on the day, Essex were huge favourites to beat us tonight and got stuffed despite us getting a below par score.

I'd say that the QF could well be the hardest game for Surrey, as if we got through to finals day we'd get KP and Trem back etc. I'd say with who we have available Hants and Notts are the strongest 2 followed by Somerset then Lancs, Durham, Essex then Surrey and Northants. Everyone at full strength I'd put us top 3.
