Why on earth we went into this match with a line up that had parry coming in at 7 when they knew we would need a big score is quite remarkable. We are gonna have equal points with Notts at this rate and that just makes it even worse. Didn't we get a points deduction in the roses match aswell?273 for 7, needing just 27 more runs to probably stay up and we get bowled out without adding another run. In such a crucial game - if you can’t pass 300 you deserve to go down. To be fair we have been poor all season and deserve to go down. Our batting is pathetic.

Lancs relegation is a bit of a joke really when you look at some of the numbers.
Same points as Notts.
Lost less games than Notts.
3rd best batting bonus points (likely finish 4th best), despite the batting really being the problem.
Highest bowling bonus points.
Some very poor capitulations are the cause, Surrey, Yorkshire to name 2, and a late collapse yesterday.

Yep, we also got a points deduction in the roses match earlier in the season. The whole season has been farcical. I wonder what would have happened if Notts went down though, they signed 3 batsmen with the promise of div 1 cricket, would have been funny if they went down.So let me get this right,if we had scored 300 in first inns we would have gained an extra point and stayed up ?
