Didnt you say on the Bony thread about half an hour ago that you were looking forward to seeing them together next year? What's changed in the past half hour?!

I am,BUT it's in the back of my mind Madrid are going to blow away everyone and there rebuilding De Gea pogba Sergio to name three.

I agree that they're going to be adding some big names but I genuinely don't see Sergio being one of them, would be a huge step backwards for us and not one that I can see us willing to agree to.

I can't see Sergio wanting to play with Ronaldo. I think he likes being the main man with us. I don't think he overly likes playing alongside anyone up front and his goals and performances in the last 5 matches have shown this.

yes , the last few games have shown us he thrives in 4 -5 -1 system , even if he didn't score today , he had 2 assists.

back on topic , anyone know if club giving a farewell to lampard ? ofcourse not the scale of Gerrard but would be a nice touch...by all accounts a thorough Gentleman

I hate this 'in' thing of the player's families having to come on the pitch for this. I don't want to applaud a player who's just chatting to his wife or making sure his kids aren't crying. They don't come on the pitch during the match so fucking leave em off it for this n'all.

Agree with this especially as they haven't won anything this year. I'll only agree to it next year if there's a big shiny trophy. I think that's fair enough?

No it wasn't we stayed up and had some cracking away wins near the end to balance out the mediocre home form. Pearce had become U21 manager months earlier as a dual role.
