we missed a trick here, with the game running down to 4 mins added time we should have got someone of the rotated lot i.e micah to snap him in half and end his career. ok a 3 game ban for micah but he wont play again for a while anyhow.

If that was the rags, every single one of them including defenders would be running screaming at the ref and under pressure the ref would have given a red even if he had not seen it

I don't usually condone such behavior, but at least it shows unity when players are sticking up for one another. Watching the incident again and the reactions afterwards, Lescott seemed far more intent on downplaying the situation with the Sunderland players whilst Yaya looked like someone who was forced to say something he didn't want to say to the ref because his role as captain. The only players who looked alarmed at the tackle was Aguero and Nasri. Really disappointing to say the least.

I see they were so quick to bring the new retrospective punishment into play for utd after the Fulham game and this should have had retrospective punishment also but usual sky and FA. Sky runs football not the FA. as Sky did not show it 24/7 like they did with the utd one it never happened so nothing done about it.
