Problem with these is they do fook all to help us. I'm sure Stoke will be happy if he gets banned since they play Sunderland next................. when, of course, Sunderland's level will drop incredibly again and they'll be lucky to get a draw.
Exactly this. The banning rule should be changed to include the next n times his team plays ours, so even if he moves club he's barred from playing against us, say the next 2 games and the next 2 games against City.
stunning idea!

Crap idea, unless you make Sunderland have to play with 10 men the next time they play us what real advantage does it give us?

I said the first time I saw it in real time I knew it was a horrible challenge and the referee was in a perfect position to see the incident!!! How he couldn't see this or not give anything for the foul is beyond me!!!

He did see it and he did give a foul which makes the decision not to even book him even more shocking!

Then 5 minutes later he booked Garcia for one that was not nearly as bad. Inexplicably poor refereeing. If it was the Rags on the end of those decisions there would be an outcry and he'd be refereeing League 1 matches for the next month.

Don't get any advantage with a retrospective ban anyway, unless the game is replayed with 10 men. Er...

As the offender would, in most cases, be the preferred choice to his replacement, there could be presumed to be an advantage in barring him from future meetings. If he goes abroad and avoids the ban, then so what, we wouldn't in all likelihood be playing against his team.

we missed a trick here, with the game running down to 4 mins added time we should have got someone of the rotated lot i.e micah to snap him in half and end his career. ok a 3 game ban for micah but he wont play again for a while anyhow.

next time some **** buys the ref he'll know it'll be his last footballing action.

Garcia is lucky that his studs slid on the surface after the impact otherwise his leg would have been snapped in 2.

I missed it in real time, but the replay showed that it was a really bad one.

Nothing wrong with Sunderland's Goal though, no matter how many replays you watch.

With respect mate, how can you not see anything wrong. He's clearly gone out to disable Milner. It was borderline fookin brutality. Only thing fooked up about it was, Richards was nowhere to be seen. Fookin shockin.

Sorry I didn't make myself clear I meant in terms of a card being given to Larrson and yes the ref did give a freekick to us!!! I agree with all the other things you have ponited out!!! There is no consistency with referees now a days!!!

Wow.

When we played Spurs last season, bale came back from injury and was on the Team sheet to face us. I posted something about Barry putting him out of the game, but me post disappeared. When I checked my e mails days later, one of the mods had deemed my post below the belt. Was it you de Niro? Hmmmmmm! ;)
