Fucking hated it.

Full of loud people all being extra loud as they were in Vegas which therefore made it ok to whoop all the time. It's all fake, everything, was out of there in 1 day.

Prefer the Canyons, not just the Grand (which has a fantastic viewing platform, the skywalk) but also the Highland Range, Lake Mead and the Hoover Dam, Mount Charleston etc etc.

Fantastic natural beauty compared to the hideous monstrocity that is Vegas.

I went in 2005 , the best week of my life. It's expensive but try the helicopter ride to the grand canyon it's an amazing experience. The pussycat dolls bar in caesars in a must!! In went in November and the rodeo finals were on so we headed down. Also there is a English boozer of the strip which has all the games on. Next door there is a gun shop where if you take your passport and for a few dollars you can shoot any gun you want. Only in America!!

I did that too with Sundance, 1 of them crashed yesterday killing 5 people

I've been 7 times love the place. So much to do and see I've never been Gran Canyon tho not my sort ov shit. Go Bills Casino and watch Big Elvis he's fantastic also the beer in their is dirt cheap :) if u want cheap bars you've got Slots for fun @ Circus Circus. The C bar at Stratosphere from 5-9 all u can drink $20. There's 1 called casino royale but can't remember where exactly that was. Make sure u walk around the Wynn hotel wow it smart.

When you go to check in, show a $20 or $50 (if feeling flush) and ask if it's possible for a room upgrade, if they do, stealthy pass it over the counter. Also tip the waitress a dollar when they bring you drinks.

I spent 10 days there and thought I was going to die...Jack Daniels on draft...killer.

Oh yeah, if David Copperfield is playing go and see him, plenty of opportunities to go on stage and he's a lot better than you imagine (as a performer..his tricks are obviously class)

Vegas is like Disney world for adults, it's fucking amazing! I've been twice and stayed at the stratasphere and MGM. The ride at new York new York is brilliant and at the strat, but I bottled them, it's a great view up there and a nice resteraunt do give it a whirl. Also at the strat there's a free fall thing where you just throw yourself off the top :-/

Freemont street is great also. Try and take a couple of shows. And whilst gambling you drink for free, although last time I was there they seemed a little stricter on this!

If you were there Friday Saturday or Sunday that when all the Americans descend on it for the weekend and ruin it. I found the week days brilliant

The bits i saw were fucking depressing. Loads of people in stupid clothing whooping and a hollering shouting out things like "vegas baby" and other such nonsense. It all got a bit depressing if i'm honest. I stay clear of casinos, huge restaurants, huge hotels where ever i go in the world. Didn't mind the crowds in New York but hated them in Vegas.

I didn't say i saw the whole Vegas experience but it did make me feel incredibly depressed after a few hours.

I hate places where people run around pretending to be having fun. Saw a lot of that.

Laugh a minute me, i fucking hated Blackpool as well.

Just because i found the garish, neon lit fake world of Vegas horrible does it make me boring? It all looks so plastic.
