Last Film You Saw

Peterloo at the Cornwall Film Fest with Mike Leigh doing a q & a after.

Film was good albeit a bit lengthy, massacre scene at end moving and horrifying. Quite shocking how events from 200 years ago could be so relevant today, (fuck, we’ve gone nowhere) and that in 1819 just 2% of the population had the vote.

If you’ve seen the film, it was shot with only 200 extras with crowd replication CGI creating the crowd of 80,000.

A Star Is Born.

Cooper and Lady Gags both excellent.

9/10

Gotta agree with this. Saw it at the cinema on Thursday and really enjoyed it.

Saw Baby Driver on DVD last night. Cracking film. I thought that the ending was a bit naff but otherwise superb.

Watched 'Journey's End' today. It was originally written as a play, and the majority of the film take place in a series of trenches in Northern France in 1918. Best film I have seen in quite a while.

I was going to post the link to the trailer, but it gives some of the film away, so I will leave that up to you.
