Last Film You Saw

The Old Man & The Gun

Sparse and controlled bravado. A fitting end to Robert Redford's on screen career. Goodbye to the ultimate California Golden Boy.

Fantastic Beasts 2 better than the first but they better end it with the third. 7/10

Just been and watched this but hadn't watched the first film.
Quite enjoyable but very slow. If they'd have cut out some of the characters back stories then the film would have been about an hour shorter.

Much to my shame, it's been a while since I've sat down to watch an independent film, so I chose "Girl Lost" to take in.

Throughout the film you can see the director struggle to piece together something coherent for the viewer and the story line dips in and out so vehemently, that it becomes distracting and noticeably rushed for a film as a result (I suspect the director has been involved in porn, has had an idea and wanted to explore it).

However, there are some extremely redeeming qualities in the film making process:

Some very nice framing and some of the flow being impressive.

Z list actors are used in this project, but there are one or two of them that bring a natural flow to the screen, that give you have half a notion that they could go further.

The very raw Jessica Taylor Haid is definitely one of those actors.

If you're comfortable with candid, but extremely dicey subject matter, then you can watch this film.

Very raw, but somehow keeps your attention.
