Last Film You Saw

It just never really kicked on for me. The premise is good and i thought the guy who played the receptionist did fantastic. From an acting point of view it was not bad. The writing was lacking a bit though. Like a tune you hear building up and you wait for it to kick in but never really does. At least not the crescendo that seemingly is promised via the build up. The director should talk to Guy Ritchie if he wants to do a "tie-in" style film or watch Snatch/Lock Stock a few times to see how it is done.

Wholeheartedly agree.

Loaded the gun and never fired.

"Vice".

My goodness, what a brilliant film!!

So many deft touches, so much messaging and massive breadcrumbs as to how America got where it is now.

I knew much of what happened in this film, but when you don't know the other missing pieces, it's impossible to put things together as well as what happens here!

This film is 'House of Cards' on steroids and it's mostly factually true!!

Bale is simply brilliant.

I cannot see past Adam McKay for 'best director' and Bale for 'best actor'.

Up there with my favourite films in recent times.
