But...but we save what we love...bwahahahahahaha
Sean, what you doing with that garrote wire, now lets not do anything silly here :-)
You saw what i and many others did. I can only say i am sorry you had to watch that. We can't take away film makers artistic freedom but there comes a point where it goes to far. Hijacking Star Wars to promote Kennedy and Johnsons personal ideals is to much for me. The lazy writing combined with the identity politics conspire to ruin what could have been a great film. If the order is supposed to be weakened Hux really should have been a shrewd commander using guile to even the odds with the resistance or something similar. To reduce him to comedy relief was very cringe worthy. We could probably write a book of this film "Sins of Celluloid - why Rian Johnson and Katherine Kennedy are cunts vol 1" hehe.
Both were refreshing i thought, well worth your time. Get Out i thought was the "freshest" horror/thriller/slight head fuck ever made. get a beer and settle down, put your phone on silent, put Get Out on!just downloaded 3 billboards and get out, are they worth a watch?

Cheers for that, it's one i was on the fence about watching...will give it a go!"Vice".
My goodness, what a brilliant film!!
So many deft touches, so much messaging and massive breadcrumbs as to how America got where it is now.
I knew much of what happened in this film, but when you don't know the other missing pieces, it's impossible to put things together as well as what happens here!
This film is 'House of Cards' on steroids and it's mostly factually true!!
Bale is simply brilliant.
I cannot see past Adam McKay for 'best director' and Bale for 'best actor'.
Up there with my favourite films in recent times.
Enjoyed The Favourite despite not typically being a fan of these period pieces. The dialogue is witty and some great performances all around and of course, relevance to modern day politics being driven by those detached from reality
Just watched The Favourite.
Utter shite. And the ending???
I've never heard the C word used so many times in one film.
He was also in the 4400 tv show from a fair few years ago.I just realized Mahershala Ali is the West Side Boy type soldier in Predator (2010). No fucking way, he is built like a brick shit house in that. Not seen House of Cards or Moonlight so my first experience with him Predator and for his part in it, did well. His interplay with Walter Goggins was very good, considering what they had to work with. I can't recall him in The Hunger Games either but i want to forget all of those films anyway.
Luke Cage is where i thought "eh up, this fella is not some generic actor who got lucky with a big part". Green Book is the point i was thinking "well you have made it mate, look forward to seeing what else you can do" and rightly so.
