Last Film You Saw

The dead don't die , Jim jarmusch zombie film , great cast , great filming, it just went a bit rubbish, unless it was me with all the in jokes , any way 5/10
Thought it was a great film. A slow burner.

Then again I thought the Joker, main performance aside, was a bit average and over hyped and Fractured was acted well but a bit obvious.

Stars Wars the last jedi. First time I've dared to watch it since i saw it in the cinema. Can't actually comprehend how much they fucked this up. The worst Star Wars movie and that's saying something considering The Phantom Menace exists. No character development, awful 'humour', longest/most boring chase in cinematic history, how they treated Luke's character, Canto Bight!!!...the flaws are endless. It actually hurts to watch. I'll see the upcoming movie but i know it will be soul crushing...There is no chance of saving this trilogy. Kathleen Kennedy, Rian Johnson....fuck you to the moon

In order from best to worst:
1) Empire strikes back
2) Return of the Jedi
3) A new hope
4) The Force awakens
5) The last Jedi
6) Revenge of the Sith
7) Attack of the clones
8) The phantom menace

Whilst I agree The Last Jedi was disappointing, it’s nowhere near as shit as the three prequels!

The prequels had major issues but at least they added to the star wars universe/lore and had some creativity. The last jedi is a nothing movie; it literally achieves nothing. It's a terribly written and directed money grab that includes some star wars nostalgia (and in the process destroys it) to try and convince the audience they're watching star wars. The epitome of style over substance. Disney are too arrogant and 'woke' to take any fan criticism too.

The new Halloween.

Whilst it doesn’t come close to the original’s excellence, it’s a well-made thriller/horror with a brilliant performance from Jamie Lee Curtis.

It’s not exactly glowing praise but I’d rank it as the best Halloween sequel yet, with Halloween 2 and H20 not too far behind. I didn’t care for Zombie’s remake though.

Feels like there has been a real lack of good films this year. Bar a few obvious ones like endgame, toystory 4, rocketman, struggle finding anything of real note. Any suggestions for 2019 films?

Bohemian Rhapsody forget that it was 2018! Where did that time go, I’m with you tbh there’s not been many decent films this year at all.
