See, I wasn't keen on that either. I like wordy films but both of these, in my opinion of course, are fairly boring.
Anyway, each to their own as you say.

Yeah, you might be able to make an 80 odd year old look 49 but you cant make him move like one. Dunno how they watched that in the edit and kept it in.

I was actually more concerned about De Niro than the shop keeper lol.

Watched bloodsport for the first time in years earlier, the cat meowing in all the fight scenes is hilariously distracting

Watched Die Hard 4 last night. Harmless nonsense. Passed a couple of hours after the football, but it won't stay long in the memory.

Saw Knives Out last night, 9/10 for me. One of the most fun films of the year. Really well written storyline which keeps you guessing all the way through and surprisingly funny. Daniel Craig is great in it as well, with a ridiculous Southern accent. It won't win any awards but I guarantee you'll have a good time watching it. The only downside is the lead, Ana de Armas, is distractingly beautiful. Super impressed with her performance.

Watching ‘The Mothman Prophecies’ and love these kind of movies. It’s an oldish one but a cracking movie. Not really a horror but it is creepy and gets you thinking.
