Last Film You Saw

"The Unnamable" (1987) Pretty decent Lovecraftian horror movie with a cracking monster. 7/10

"US" (2019) again decent watch but the more you think about it the less sense it makes. 6/10

"Pet Sematary" (2019) Dull and pointless remake of a personal 80s favourite. 3/10
Oh my god yes, US makes absolutely no sense at all, it just wouldnt have worked

Ad Astra

Well, not got time for a review of that yet, it was packed with stuff to talk about though, possibly to packed.

First scene is pretty fucking epic though tbf.

Nice its next on my list to watch love films in that genre.

Irishman. Outstanding.

It is what it is. Some will find it slow moving etc but it's brilliantly depicted and for me is as close a reflection you will get into that world and how it operates.

It's also tremendously acted and Pesci in particular should be winning some prizes for that performance, closely followed by Pacino.

There is no space for this type of cinema anymore and that is a crying shame.
