Imagine Gravity level cgi (top level stuff) made by Stanley Kubrick when he was really really stoned mixed in with a bit of Sunshine. If you smoke weed even casually this is the time to smoke!

    Enjoy squire.

    Irishman. Outstanding.

It is what it is. Some will find it slow moving etc but it's brilliantly depicted and for me is as close a reflection you will get into that world and how it operates.

It's also tremendously acted and Pesci in particular should be winning some prizes for that performance, closely followed by Pacino.

There is no space for this type of cinema anymore and that is a crying shame.

  7. Hotel Mumbai: As close to reality as a movie can be. A 72-hour siege with 34 brave hearts and 1600 lives saved and I score it a maximum of 10/10. Not only is it a harrowing watch but a serious contender for film of the year. An absolute masterpiece and miss at your peril.

    Rambo Last Blood.

Slow to build up to a brutal ending. Love Stallone's revenge violence.
