Black christmas 70's version on You Tube. 8/10. Transfer quality a bit gash, but I dont mind since its a low budget 70's film anyway. Have a soft spot for both this and the 00's version. Havent seen the latest version yet.

A Fantastic Woman
Chilean film, 2017

Another wonderful film from director Sebastian Lelio.
This time a slow paced study about Marina, a transgender woman whose older partner dies of natural causes leading to all kinds of problems and insinuations on her character from his family and the police.
Marina is treated unfairly it seems by everyone.
I like Lelio's two movies I've watched so far.
He seems to allow actors time to breathe.
What a woman the ex wife is.

Despite facing several hardships, Joy Mangano, a divorced mother of two, rises against all odds and sets up a successful business empire.
Excellent family film and what a performance by Jennifer Lawrence 10/10

The Hunt. (Not the danish film). 8/10. Short and sweet 90 min film, more fun than 90 min of city at the moment.
12 strangers hunted, battle royal/hunger games style. But a hell of a lot better than those films in my opinion. Final payoff not quite as satisfying as I hoped, so could have been a 9/10.

The Secrets we Keep
2020

Actress Noomi Rapace made her big break with the modern classic revenge thriller The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, so it is a welcome treat to see her return to the genre with Yuval Adler’s The Secrets we Keep.
Sadly though she's the only creditable asset here.
Kidnapping/revenge story, ex Nazi neighbour.....unlikely situations, too many plot holes, strictly B movie territory for me I'm afraid.

I said similar about 3 pages back - the ending was strangely weak.

Not a fan at all of Vince Vaughan, but he was ok in this.
