Cant help it, I just have to keep watching even though I’ve seen it so many times.

Its because it's almost perfect film making (for lads ;-))

Crawl. Had never heard of it but it caught my eye on the listings and it's a really good take on Jaws type / monsters in the basement movies.

Watched this a while ago with Mrs Blue Sky. Really enjoyed it.

Just watched The Irishman for the 2nd time(I generally 'get' films better the 2nd time round) a good film but fuck me it drags on....

The Joker starring the quite brilliant Joaquin Phoenix with a nice cameo guest appearance from that master of his chosen craft Bob De Niro and without reservation my film recommendation of the year. Its about the artsy world of clowning and its about mimes and its about mental illness and its about becoming a character and its about so many different things that encompass that dark seedy underbelly of gotham city. The story is told through the eyes of a mentally ill man who is desperately struggling with abandonment issues . Joaquin phoenixs performance and commitment to the role is beyond the superlative and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Diego Maradona on Amazon Prime. A superb film that reminded me why I love football so much. Made me rethink my view on Maradona (previously disliked him) He comes across as a very complex and confused character. It's amazing how often people who are geniuses have so many demons driving them on. I had no idea how much he was involved in organised crime in Naples. His life was a hell of a rollercoaster ride.
