Last Film You Saw

Now you see me 8/10

very entertaining with a twist at the end.

I know I've seen it and I know I enjoyed it, but I can't remember how it ended or even how it started. My memory must be completely fucked.

Managed three films in the last 24 hours.......

The Book Thief

A half decent watch "but nowhere near as good as the book" my daughter reliably informs me

Hope Springs

Absolutely shocking despite a good cast

There's Only One Jimmy Grimble

Had never seen this before and I really tried to like it but thought it was awful. Enjoyed seeing the clips of Maine Road immensely though, that was the film's saving grace

There seem to be a lot of Beads in this crowd but not nearly enough breasts to satisfy the demand...

The Railway Man

Deserves its own thread, just seen it, great great film, Colin Firth is one superb actor

10/10

True story, I cant recommend it enough

PS Id have knifed the bastard.

Re: The Railway Man

Yes, watched this around twelve months ago at the cinema.......really gripping thought provoking film.

Just starting Jack Reacher, not sure i can really take Cruise as Jack Reacher after reading a few of the books.
Actually, considering it is Cruise we're talking about, he isn't THAT bad in that film.

Reacher in the books is a 6'5 blonde haired brick shithouse. Its a decent film, I enjoyed it anyway, but Cruise is a million miles away from the character in the books.

I was very suprised actually, really enjoyed it and Cruise for once didnt ruin it.

Watched Guardians of the Galaxy with the lad on DVD tonight.
Enjoyed it every bit as much as seeing it at the flicks
Loved the line by StarLord when Gamora complains about his spaceship being dirty - "If you shone a blacklight in here, it would look like a Jackson Pollack painting"
