Last Film You Saw

Fear street: 1994

Based on the teen slasher books, usual horor/slasher fare, was ok, had a scream, meets stranger things vibe about it

7/10

I wasn't put off watching the second one out next week

I liked the look of this but was put off because it's obviously for teens, worth it though?

It follows all the usual tropes, but at the same time it isn't unwatchable and though set with a late teen cast, which slasher movie isn't tbf.
If you enjoyed stranger things, AHS and the scream franchise then it will pass a few hours without offence.

Ah. Liam Neeson. The world’s most unconvincing tough/hard/action man.
You wanna watch a convincing hard man, it's Mads Mikklesen in Riders For Justice. Just for the great fucking beard. More manliness in one strand of that beard than in a hundred Gerard Butler unneccessary torture scenes. Anyway, he's an ex-soldier, on a personal revenge mission. Very convincing. Brutal, clinical, skilled, ice cold. Zero emotion on the job.

At least that's how it is for the first two thirds.

Great actor, great role, great fucking beard. I mean, great fucking film.

Watched half of "Blinded by the light"... reminds me of my discovery of Bruce at about the same age. Loved all the fashions and music. Hope tge 2nd half is as good tonight.

I watched that at the cinema and bloody hated it. The bit where they are running through the streets singing had me cringing in my seat.
