No Way Home. Excellent. A real nostalgia trip which could have sunk the movie, but handled very well.

I love Miike's Samurai slashers. 13 Assassins is the most violent and fun thing I think I ever saw.
(TBH tho I binned Blade Of The Immortal because I can't get on with immortal OP characters.)

The new Spider-Man film and fuck me I enjoyed that massively. Massive hit of nostalgia and some genuinely emotional scenes. Brilliant

Antlers. Was ok, not a huge creature feature fan but this was creepy in parts.

Great Expectations 1946 version with John Mills today on telly

Re-watched Good Will Hunting last night. Excellent film. 9 out of 10, just a little too cheesey for 10.
There was a thread on BM a few weeks back about great monologues in film; Robin Williams had a couple of cracking ones. Deserved his oscar. Matt Damon was superb too,and hats off to him and Ben Affleck coming up with that script at such a young age.
