Working through the Christmas films and watched Trading places, it is 39 years old, where did that go? 8/10 for the film.
The Menu (2022) - 7/10
Comedy-Horror, can't tell if it's taking the piss or being serious at times. Ralph Fiennes and Anya Taylor-Joy are both good in it, she might be the best actress around at the moment. I suppose they could get nominated for it.
They could have developed the story more, the conclusion isn't the best but it's enjoyable.

Apart from a couple of hits (Coming To America the biggest probably), the Twilight Zone film had a horrible accident on it. Can't remember how much Landis was held responsible, but enough that he was damaged goods from then on. Trading Places was filmed before the investigation finished, I think.

Last of the Mohicans on 5 Action now. Love it, amazing how lethal a hatchet is! Just tremendous actors, great photography, brilliant director and a sublime score. It's a good 'un.
I still play this soundtrack on long drives....
