Last Film You Saw

The DaVinci Code, first time I've seen it since watching it in the Cinema. Really really enjoyed that, love historical, mystery, code/problem solving films. It's like National Treasure for adults (meaning no disrespect to the National Treasure films, which I also love).
Angels and Demons.

not as good as the DaVinci code but still very enjoyable.

Now just need Inferno to come down to a decent price on bluray

iRobot vibe liked it 7/10

Set in the 22nd century, climate change has caused the planet to become uninhabitable and humans live within a man-made shelter. A war takes place within the shelter. Jung Yi is the elite leader of the allied forces. She becomes the subject of a brain cloning experiment. The cloning experiment is a potential key to win the war.

Independence Day Resurgence

so this doesn't live up to the original in any way shape or form, but it's not as bad as I'd heard. 2.5/5 is fair.

Defiance - Daniel Craig attempting to speak with a Russian accent consistently, he scored a 5/10
The film gets 7.5/10
An empty film with lapses of perpetual boredom thown in for good measure, but we watched on in the forlorn hope it would produce the goods with Daniel Craig in attendance, but it didnt. The action scenes were fair to middling save for those psilosyben bending sten gun bullets that refused to hit their target, but i guess this wasnt a film about realism.

To compress, a trio of brothers (I thought it was 2) fook off to a forest were they used to chillax as kids to escape persecution from the Nazi horde. News of their prowess seeps into circulation, and many a refugee ups and joins them.

And thats about it really, as they all eek out a life in the woods, ocationally having to bolt off as the Germans sniff them out. One scene led to Daniell shrieking out to run run run and carry with you nothing but guns and amunition.
After trecking out of danger the refugees started to build new homes, with hammers nails hacksaws and spirit levels.

A lot of time is spent interspersing with the daily life of our gang, but sadly it remained devoid of any interaction as it's supporting cast of extras just mulled around in groups, and not conversing. They didn't for one minute look like they were extras, but more coerced unto the film set from an unemployment benefit office. Fair to say I have seen corpses perform ablutions better

Another scene finds Daniel killing his white steed to feed the starving group. He would have had to skin it first and then cut it up into bite size portions with the full assistance from his band of merry men, then season it and cook it. But what were we privvy to at the end of all these preperations ? Hordes of overacting sausages tearing his serving hatch apart owing to malnutritional nonsense.

Mr Craigs acting was not too bad, but his delivery of the Russian tongue was pitifull. A few Da's would have sufficed without the need for his hammy accent that wavered throughout.

A true story with some of it shaping up rather well, but mainly due to the assistance of the workable liev shriber, so I would like to offer up a score of 6/10

You're Barry Norman and I claim my £5

Vampires (1998) - 4/10
Starts out alright but tails off drastically. It's a bit like From Dusk Till Dawn but a bit shitter.

Sorry, it's generally out of 10 on here...and I doubt 5 will be okay in any way shape or form.
