I kept waiting for Clay Davis character from "The Wire" to utter the immortal line "Sheeeeee-it" throughout various parts of the film.

It wasn't what I expected, so I'd not want to spoil it. It's psychological horror, it's Brandon Cronenberg and yep, quite similair to his dad's work. It's a good concept, and for the most part it's executed well. It did slip a bit in the final third, but you could do a lot worse for a midnight movie.
