Last Film You Saw

In Bruges - an absolute masterpiece that I love, and has gone straight into my top 10 favourite films of all time, and a film that I never want to watch again.

Hercules - decent. DeVito kind of carries it IMO.

Nobody - surprisingly great! As a fan of Breaking Bad, seeing Bob Odenkirk go from Saul Goodman to a very convincing action movie star is very rewarding. I also think the bus fight in this movie is my favourite action scene ever. It's on Netflix UK now and I would highly recommend.
Watched Nobody earlier! I like Bob odenkirk, got screen presence, but it was so forgettable I can't even remember. The plot? No idea, What I do remember though is the soundtrack, they squeezed in the aminals don't let me be misunderstood twice and you'll never walk alone,

The soundtrack is brilliant IMO because you would never expect a revenge thriller to be filled with 60s/70s ballads, but it works. Reminds me of the Guardians of the Galaxy films being exclusively soundtracked by late 60s-early 70s rock hits.

Odenkirk is a brilliant actor and, while I didn't think much of the story or supporting cast, he alone (plus the bus sequence) made it a memorable one for me. Christopher Lloyd is cool in it as well, and I say that as someone who has still never seen Back to the Future.

I forgot about him! Apart from enjoying the soundtrack I remember feeling weird about Lloyd at 83 I'm guessing with a shotgun, I wasn't sure it was him at 1st

It's 3hrs long and I didn't last that, but I liked it. Total ADD overload, nonsense plot (I sort of remember writing this exact concept for a story when I was seven or eight).... but it had cool gadgets and visuals and stuff, and it made me smile and kept my interest. hollywood can't help but make films that take themselves really seriously at all times, even the crap 'self-aware and ironic' fx laden movies. this wasn't like that, it was full of jarring dialogue and so on, but I always thought it was good fun or pretty reasonable in what it was doing. I'd watch this rather than Independance Day every single time.

Nobody is a good film. Unplug and enjoy.
