Last Film You Saw

Man of Steel I like Snyderverse and wish he had been allowed to complete it although there might be announcement tomorrow about that hopefully 7.5/10

Remember back in the early 80s my brother brought Flesh Gordon home and wouldn't let me watch as a wee whippersnapper.

Was bored with the football on Saturday so watched it, out of mild curiosity. It's an ultra low budget porno Flash Gordon spoof, would probably have appealed to my adolescent self, pretty awful really. Interestingly Rick Baker did the special effects for this in 1974, fast forward to 1981, he wins an Oscar for American Werewolf in London!

I downloaded 'Flesh Gordon' a couple of years ago as I wanted to relive it again as it had been years since seeing it as a kid!

"A Good Person"

Not sure where to start!!

I really like Zach Braff, but he needs help with fleshing out his films, especially as a writer. Still stuck in that late 90s/ 2000s vibe, including the song choices (one in particular is a great choice, though) and he just needs to modernise.

The film is a mixed bag with some poorly written pieces, some plot holes and a smattering of exceptional scene delivery.

This could have been a classic, but is extremely guilty of navel-gazing, so much so, I stopped and started the film 3 times over the couple of weeks before I could, finally, watch it.

Everyone else, except for Pugh, is decidedly poor and she only just about floats in this mish-mash of a film that couldn't stop meandering.
