Last Film You Saw

Been revisiting some of the old school films with my daughter recently. Casino- Not watched it for years but still a top film. Daughter said it was ok but a little confusing and gave it 7/10. I wasn't happy! Reservoir Dogs last week. Still a classic and one film you can learn something new each time you watch it. She gave that 7.5/10. She's quite a harsh critic Haha. She watched Goodfellows last year with my sister and gave it a full on 10/10..Good girl. Think we'll watch Papillion this weekend, the joint (with Goodfellows) greatest film of all time.

I saw Guardians of the Galaxy 3 last week. I enjoyed it and even had tears in my eyes at points. Definitely my favourite post endgame marvel film.

Also rewatched Jaws over the weekend. Still an incredible movie

I'd challenge anyone not to,it was very emotional and had some proper depth,it sent several messages i didnt expect from such a film.

Belting, even better when it comes as a complete surprise.

Incredible film. The scene towards the end with
Brendan Gleeson's brutal death
still haunts me, and I watched it months ago.

Last night I watched The Big Lebowski for the first time. I expected to love it, but if I'm honest, Jeff Bridges was the only thing I really liked about the movie. It's a 3* film for me.

Well, well, a dissenter after my own heart! I had it really bigged up by friends, and I know it's got this huge reputation. I was looking forward to big things from it. I found it mannered, and finally tiresome because of that.
And I'm quite a fan of Coen brothers films, by the way.

The Motorcycle Diaries
2003

In 1952, two young Argentines, Ernesto Guevara and Alberto Granado, set out on a road trip to discover the real Latin America.

Absolutely brilliant film, loved it.

9/10

Watched "Air" on the weekend.

It's brilliant. I tried to describe it to colleagues this morning, who aren't sports fans but would enjoy it. "It's a film about Michael Jordan's shoe deal"....doesn't really hook many in but it's fantastic. Matt Damon is very good in it. Ben Affleck is, well a lot like how you imagine he would be in real life - away with the fairies.
I watched it and thought it was watchable but silly and pretty boring. I didn't like how it tried to make out like this was something special and "good" in some way. I'm sure the executives at Nike really like it though.

Fruitvale Station 7.5/10 -
A based on a true story of a young black man murdered by the police in America (surprise surprise), a tough watch in parts, but worth your time.

It was good. Soundtrack, acting. Viola Davis absolutely killed it towards the end.

I should like once, in my life, to make one phone call, have a single meeting, to utter a single sentence, as cool and effective as her dropping it on them that Michael expected a percentage from each sale.
This is next on my list.

As a Nike Air and Michael Jordan fan (Space Jam as a kid). I'm excited.

What a piece of business from both parties. Jordan must be the richest sportsman that ever lived? He's a multi billionaire now I believe.
