No they didn't he just misaligned the docking. The computer was even warning him not to open it. They locked no hatch as they didn't even know he was a nutcase when they left the ship. Also even if you're right and im remembering it wrong why why why would the future humans who create the wormhole even exist? The earth was dying out, where did the humans come from? and if they just survived why would they want the past changed if it meant they would never exist? and then if they never existed how could they then create the future wormhole? its a lazy unexplained paradox. another paradox is that how can Coop talk to Murph with coordinates to go to the base if he dosen't get those coordinates then none of this happens, another unmentioned paradox. Why is he writing STAY to murph? if he stayed he wouldn't be able to save anyone and Coop knows this, makes absolutley no sense. Who we're nasa going to send through the wormhole if Coop didn't show up. I could write more but whats the point, terribly written sci fi.
