Last Film You Saw

Star Trek into Darkness - I'm a bit late with this one, never got round to watching it. I didn't really like it :/ Cumberbatch was fantastic, but some of the other acting bothered me, as did the story. I just watched it on an aeroplane, so maybe it's cruel to judge it. Anyway, 6/10

I don't watch many Films but its a little boring here sometimes so a mate recommended Mortdecai starring Johnny Depp, Ewan Mcgregor and Paltrow. I shit you not I laughed that much I had a little wee in my boxers slapstick at its best.

Whiplash.

Hated it, especially all the characters, but the end was good (and not just because it was the end)

Loved Whiplash, anyone who plays an instrument I think would be into it

This is what Jake Gyllenhaal looks like in his new movie. Pretty crazy considering he lost lots of weight for his role in Nightcrawler. 2000 sit ups a day...

Upon further thought, I suppose the film was gripping. Although some of it just didn't make sense. I'll try not to be spoilery..The scene where loud mouth keeps asking who is playing out of tune.. he explains his actions at the end of the scene and it simply didn't make any sense. The scene where the drummer is rushing to get there on time.. and no mention of it later. The drummer's gullibility towards the end...

But as I said the last 15/20 mins? or so.. made a silly film good for me. The main 2 character's acting was fantastic actually. Hate was the wrong word, I suppose guilty pleasure is more apt.

Not sure what your grips are as they are within the context of the film.
